Samuel Zwetchkenbaum

Dr. Sam Zwetchkenbaum is Dental Director in both the Oral Health Program in the Rhode Island Department of Health and the Rhode Island Medicaid program. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry and obtained his Masters in Public Health(MPH) at the University of Michigan. He was the dentist at Capitol Hill Health Center in Providence, and previously worked as a dentist at nursing homes, University of Michigan Hospital, and Edison Job Corps.  Favorite things about dentistry are: getting people out of pain, helping people feel good about their smiles, and seeing someone work to get their teeth healthy! Favorite things about Dental Public Health are assuring that all Rhode Islanders have access to dental care and important preventive measures such as sealants and community water fluoridation.
